When you fill out the application, you will be asked which of these camps is your first choice and which is your second choice, etc. the "first choice" camp's staff will contact you to interview you and enter you into the JR process.

To work most positions, with some exceptions, you must be a legal adult and have at least 1 year of college completed by the summer you serve. High schoolers may apply to be Leaders In Training LITs (See below).

If you choose Camp Concordia, and you are the right fit for the camp philosophy and needs, we will contact you to either ask follow up interview questions or to offer you a position as a summer staff. Start the NLOMA Application process here or contact Craig "Doc" Oldenburg, Camp Concordia's director, using the contact information above.

Summer camp staff at Camp Concordia work very hard and the experience is amazing. Each staff is in ministry with campers and influences the faith life of those campers. Whether in a support position or a direct cabin group position, Camp Concordia staff are engaged in creating an extraordinary experience for campers.

Each staff will have a background check from their home state; receive more than a week of training, including waterfront safety, 1st aid/CPR, camper concerns, skills for leading activities, and more.

Food Service, Maintenance and Health Office Positions: These positions have a great deal of responsibility. They keep Camp Concordia summer camps ticking throughout the summer. If you are interested in serving this summer in one of these roles (all roles are multifacited and ministry oriented), please contact Camp Concordia directly, ASAP so that we can begin to assess skills and options.
