Summer is fun at Camp Concordia. Singing and dancing to Bible action songs, running through the field playing games with friends, archery at the range, swimming or kayaking in the lake, climbing the tower, and laughing at the antics of fellow campers, cabin leaders, and volunteers. Summer is fun at camp.
What sets Camp Concordia apart from many other camps is what happens between the fun: growth in faith. After the fun action songs often comes a time of prayer-filled reflection and Christ-centered lessons. Our Summer Ministry Staff are always modeling what it means to live out the love of Jesus for others during all of these camp activities.
While we share Jesus in word & action, we encourage our campers to do the same. We want our campers to leave camp prepared to share Jesus, living out God’s words in 1 Peter 3:15, “Always be prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks you to give the reason for the hope that you have.” (NIV)
We hope to see your family at Camp Concordia this summer as our summer ministry staff shares who Jesus is and demonstrates how to share Jesus with others; and of course, have lots of fun at camp while we grow in faith!
