Please complete and return the WCLA Indemnity & Release Form prior to making arrangements for your boat launch use at Camp Concordia. You may return this signed form to Camp Concordia via email to [email protected], mail, or in-person drop off. This is an ANNUAL requirement.

WCLA Boat Launch Dates
The Camp Concordia boat launch is NOT open to the public, but it is available to WCLA members so they can easily get their boats into and out of the water. Camp Concordia (CC) is a non-profit children's summer camp; therefore, access is coordinated and limited for the safety of children. This is a privilege offered to paid WCLA members who follow the proper procedures. Camp Concordia does not get paid for the use of camp's private land when WCLA members access the boat launch and donations are appreciated.

Please schedule at least 24 hours in advance of using the boat launch. 

Boat Launch Use Procedures
(Email Camp Concordia 24 hours in advance)
1. Indemnity & Release Form: Print, complete and return the WCLA Indemnity & Release Form every year, prior to making arrangements for your boat launch.
2. Check the Boat Launch Calendar for dates and times when the Boat Launch is available for use by members of the Lake Association.
3. Email [email protected] at least 24 hours in advance before you plan to use the boat launch with only following information. No other emails or voicemails will be accepted. 
(Subject: Launch)

• Member name
• Member phone number
• Color, make, and model of vehicle(s) camp staff will see on camp and/or the name of the company delivering your craft (example: Blue Jeep Wrangler). If you need to bring additional vehicles, they MUST also be identified.
• Day and time you plan to use the launch – or the day & time the company delivering or picking up your craft plans to be on site (example: May 20th at 6:00 pm). If it changes, just email again.

4. You will receive a confirmation email from Camp Concordia staff confirming your scheduled use of the boat launch. 
5. Be sure you have the current combination for the lock. You have received this as a WCLA member. If you do not have the current combination, contact your Lake Association Board of Directors representative. Also be sure to have your driver's license and willingly show it to camp staff.

Important Reminders

• Abide by the 10mph speed limit & directional signs
• Always close the entrance gate to the camp behind you on the way out.
• Stay on marked roads at all times. At launch area, back your boat trailer in from in front of the pavilon. Do not pull your vehicle up the hill or off the road.
• Replace the Association Lock and chain when finished.
• If any damage is accidentally incurred to the property, or you see any suspicious activity, please contact the Camp Director right way at 616-754-3785.

We want to make sure that you are taken care of as our neighbors on the lakes. We appreciate your care and concern for our campers and property as well.
