Problem: A mom wrote: Her son had a great time at camp but was considering not returning the next summer due to the amount of stress he encountered when trying to get a shower since such a strict time limit needed to be kept to get 30 boys plus staff through using 3 showers. From venting to how easily and well a bath house can be cleaned, it is time for an update of the 1958 bath house facilities.
Solution: A new bath house with adequate number of showers, toilets and sinks in a location more assessable to everyone. Funding: Due to a legacy gift of $180,000, a major donation of $75,000 and prior Future Fund contributions, Camp Concordia is well on its way to the approximate $700,000 price tag. Yes. $700,000! To do this well and build for the next 65 years, we want it to last. Your Role: Reach out to friends, relatives and neighbors; inviting them to help Camp Concordia Build on a Firm Foundation of the past. Scan the code and begin the giving. |
OLD Boys’ NEW |
Early Foundations: In 1958, when the first concrete was being poured at Camp Concordia, the men & women behind it were not just building structures, rather they were building a ministry that would last for decades. Today, over 65 years later, the board of directors, volunteers and staff, comprised of a new generation of talented women and men, are working to build on this foundation of ministry.
Building the 2nd Story: If 1958 began the 1st story of Camp Concordia’s ministry, today, involved and concerned families from Michigan and states beyond are begining the 2nd story - building on a firm foundation of the past. This is your story in God’s history! |
