Retreats

Camp Concordia's mission is to be an outstanding children's ministry, providing summer camp experiences for children, youth and families. When those camp sessions are not going on, the Concordia facilities are available to school and church groups for rental. Dates may be available between Memorial Day weekend and early October.

We invite your Church Group Contact/Leader to call the Camp Concordia office for availability and to establish a User Agreement.

Youth Retreats: Team Initiative Program (TIP)
Weekend youth retreats during the fall months can include camp staff led activities: team initiative program, climbing tower, campfire talks, etc. and church adult led models with canoeing, Bible studies, hikes, games, campfires and more.

Team Building Retreats
Camp Concordia staff train to lead Team Initiative Programming that allows group to move toward spiritual, physical, intellectual, emotional and social support of each other; and grow in conversations of faith based on these experiences. These would be smaller retreat sizes of 8-24 participants.
Here we go...
  • Fireman's Lift and maybe Toss
  • Spider's Web
  • Rebirth Tire
  • All Aboard & Landing
  • Trolley's
  • High Ropes: Postman's Walk/Zip Line
......are a few of the experiences your group might face when you choose TEAM BUILDING as the focus of your retreat.

Team Initiative Program (TIP) is at the heart of the team building option. Students and their leaders need to come prepared for highly physical and interactive retreat that will learn about the biblical concept of the body of Christ.

Family REtreats
Churches organize weekend retreats for families in our Base Camp cabins and in the Family Campground. These retreats have a definite biblical outcome and can be self sufficient when using the campground as an options.
Service Retreats
Service weekends are very helpful to Camp Concordia. Groups often come when no one is retreating and repair from electrical to structural, help clean up or close up.

Groups choosing to come and improve Camp Comcordia often bring thier own food or, if latger in the year, help to eat up a menu made from the food left over from the summer. Men’s works retreats, Women’s work retreats. Even Youth Work retreats with the church’s adult supervision. Evening campfire can also be part of an oevernight experience. Groups are sure to leave camp spotless on departure.
