Trails campers bring friends and meet friends. While they zip, splash, shoot and paddle they grow into a close community! (Entering Grades 6-8 in the fall) You think you had fun before? This camp raises the bar! It combines powerful devotional experiences, challenging messages and exciting activities to help you know God in a real way. Return home ready to engage with your world, make tough decisions, and manage the pressures of life.

Possible Activities: Zip Line, climbing tower, archery tag, gaga-ball, ropes course, tubing, archery, swimming, just hanging out with friends, daily activity challenges and more!

Add-On Options

Guitar - Spend about 60 minutes each day having a CC Staff coach you in playing basic guitar chords. Campers bring own guitars. Feel free to play around the campfire with CC Staff (even if you only play one chord).
Horse Trail Rides - Includes 2 days of amazing 1-hour horse trail rides at the nearby Double R Ranch. Additional program cost.
Survivor Campout - From afternoon canteen, overnight and through morning Bible Adventures, this small group of survivors will be challenged to cook their own meals, set up shelters (not tents) for their overnight campout, and face a few challenges that will require team ingenuity (all under supervision and guidance of a trained Summer staff. Additional program cost.
Kayaking - 1-2 hours per day kayaking (weather permitting). Campers will train in paddling a kayak, safety skills, and have kayaking adventures on the chain of lakes.
Sailing - 1-2 hours per day sailing (weather permitting). Must be a swimmer, with or without lifejacket, and be able to pull oneself up onto a sailboat from the water. Additional program cost.
Target Sports - 1-2 hours per day, weather permitting, campers will be led in archery, rifler, slingshots, and axe throwing. Trained staff will supervise practice of proper form, accuracy, and distance. Additional program cost.

2025 Packing, check-in, check-out information

Notice: Zip line will not be an available activity for the summer of 2024 as repairs are currently in progress. We thank you for your understanding as we work to maintain a safe environment for your family.

Middle school students appreciate their own unique challenges only available to older campers, including more intense faith conversation during Trails camp sessions.

* Add-On Options allow campers to sign up ahead, and camp staff to plan, for specialized Individualized Activities 1-2 hours Monday-Thursday. There will be other activities to choose from if you don't sign up for the Add-On Option.
